Have not blogged in a long time. So ayy okay this is what happened these 2 days. I went out with some friends and classmates on thursday. Met them in school at around 5 pm +. We were going to go clubbing, at Zouk, for ROMP - underage party. This is my first time clubbin, yea so kinda going for the experience. The party starts at around 9+ 10pm, and will last till about 4am. So in the meanwhile, we had alot of time to kill. We left our stuff with one of the boarders, then made our way to j8 to eat. At j8, a friend and me kinda ran into this renovation sale at OP, yea things were basically going at really low prices (compared to the original prices). So i grabbed a pair of slippers for about 15 bucks. Slippers which came in handy later on at night lol.
AFter that, we went to play pool at marina.. i think i got better at it seeing its only my 3rd time playing. Out of the 5 who were there, only 4 played, so its 2 v 2, a pretty fun experience. And pool really is addictive, so have to watch that i dont make it a habit to always go pool.. It ended at roughly 9pm+ i think, then we took a train to Outram Park, and hailed a cab from there to where ever zouk is. There was a queue at zouk or at least theres this massive load of people trying to get in. The place was flooded with soooooo many youths. But somehow, we managed to get in quite quickly, squeezed through the crowd somehow.. didnt bother to queue. Saw many familiar faces, there were alot of people from school who were going for the party.
When we arrived, the party just started i tihnk, but already on the dance floor, were like loads and loads of people... pretty jammed pack. I met a couple of friends there the moment i walked up the stairs. Yea, they were just chilling out... getting warmed up or something. So basically slacked around for a while, before deciding to hit the dance floor.. We had to squeeze our way tthrough the crowd in order to end up somewhere near the center of the floor... There were seriously alot of people, so there wasn't really much space.. And there were people dancing all around u, there was this gay guy who was trying to grind me from behind or something.. damn weird..
Danced for some time until the heat and loud music got abit too much, so we decided to take a break. Had to (with some difficulty) find our way out of the floor on to the upper levels, where we got drinks and chilled. After like stoning and err.. resting for some time, we went back down to dance.. this time we were squeezedto the side of the floor.. did not really have much room but nevertheless... managed to groove to the music.. haha..
We left zouk at 1am plus for the coffee club in orchard.. had a pretty amusing experience there, coz the waiters did not allow us to bring outside food in, but we stil brought drinks from 7 eleven into the premise.. they tried with lots of persistence to get us to stop drinking them.. but i dont think it really worked..After that we trudged through the urban jungle into the hearts of SMU. All the way we were just talking crap lol.. its pretty cool to walk in the middle of the night.. cause its quiet and u can really talk in that sense.. Slacked on one of the private roads in SMU, before a lorry came at us.. lol. Actually it didnt really came at us, but someone's exaggerated reaction got us all running away from the middle of the road. Had our picture taken by some canadian tourist who was trying to find food at like 4 am in the morning.
We then walked to singapore river... crossed the bridge (which somehow seemed like a pretty long bridge coz we walked for a kinda long distance) to some stone steps by the small merlion.. We slept there on the steps -- ok only my friend and i slept. its really really cool, though it seems as though we are homelesss.. but to sleep by the sea, and have waves lapping at the steps below, is really quite a unique experience.. slept pretty comfortably thnx to my classmate on whom i slept and used as a pillow haha... at about 6 30 am, the merlion started spurting water into the sea... and by 7am+ the sun rose... could see the moon and the sun in parallel, really cool feeling.. Its not everyday u get to feel as though u are homeless, sleeping by the sea, and hearing the rhythmic waves and just reflecting on stuff... should go there more often..
After that we went for breakfast at macs in j8, then went back to pick up our stuff in school. Subsequently, i slept on the bench in the school canteen for a while before going for lunch. AFter lunch i basically got home and collapsed on the bed.. My long awaited slumber..
